About Mark Ricketts
I have been playing football professionally for about 10 years now. I started my career at Charlton Athletic when I left school at 16, joining them on a scholarship. During my time there I played at all levels including captaining the reserve side. I spent a few months on loan at MK Dons during my final season at Charlton. From there I moved onto Ebbsfleet United spending 3 seasons there, during which we managed to win the FA Trophy, playing the final at Wembley stadium. When I left there I moved to my current club Woking where I am now captain playing in a very competitive side.
Realising football of course doesn’t last for ever I took the opportunity a few years ago to complete a Personal Training diploma. I am a fully qualified Reps level 3 Personal Trainer based in the south east of England. I have also completed an FA level 2 certificate in coaching football.
This blog will hopefully be an interesting knowledge base for those interested in all things fitness. I’ll update it on a regular basis with the latest training techniques, stories and interviews from the world of personal training. Feel free to contact me for all your personal training needs: from training for sports and events, to nutrition and dietary advice.
